Kathryn Eve Lewandowski, PhD
Biography
Dr. Lewandowski’s research centers on the characterization and treatment of cognitive deficits and other complex and treatment refractory symptoms across the psychoses. She has conducted studies of longitudinal cognition and brain imaging in early psychosis and adult bipolar disorder, characterization of cognition using data-driven methods, reward and motivation in psychosis, cognitive remediation clinical trials and implementation work, and use of virtual reality to assess cognitive functioning. Additionally, she is conducting an fMRI-guided TMS study of cognitive impairments in psychosis and is active in several large consortia, including Breakthrough Discoveries for Thriving with Bipolar Disorder (BD2) and the Accelerating Medicines Partnership–Schizophrenia (AMP SCZ).
